CeliCheck (tTg New Generation IgA/IgG) screening alone is the least costly strategy for CD testing since it can be used for both adult & pediatric samples including IgA deficient patients, thus avoiding additional costs with markers like tTg/Gliadins/EMA. It can detect tTg seronegative celiac disease patients & has a better correlation with the mucosal damage (Marsh score) in comparison to the classical markers.
